This feature allows users to easily remove generated documents from their active workflows. These documents are not deleted, but marked as archived, inactivated, and hidden from active views.

In the Editor, users can now archive documents by clicking File > Archive.

We will will then ask you to confirm that you want to archive the document and provide some information about how archiving will affect your document.

Important: Once you archive a document, it will no longer be viewable in the main documents table, it will be “viewable” but not editable, it won’t be able to be assigned to portals or live docs, and it won’t receive any legal updates.

You can also archive a document from the main dashboard by clicking on the 3 dots of the document you want to archive and then Archive.

To view archived documents, you will navigate to Archived in your main dashboard in the navigation bar.

From this view you can Restore, Download, Rename, or Delete the document by clicking on the 3 dots next to the archived document.

Important: Once you restore a document, it will be removed from the “archive” view and reactivate the document. You will then be able to edit the document, send it to portals and live docs, and will receive legal updates.

Documents can also be restored from within the Editor by clicking on File > Restore.

Note: If a document missed an update while it was archived, it will be marked as "Needs Update" when restored so you can update it to the latest version.
